I read the news that DASH diet is best US diet. What is it ?

DASH diet focuses on fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy, whole grains, poultry, fish, and nuts. It is also low in fat, red meat, sugar, including sugary drinks, all that make it a great diet to reduce Blood pressure and lose those extra pounds. For best results, DASH should be combined with daily exercise, no alcohol or tobacco intake and stress reduction.
