A normal heart rate is
A normal heart rate is between 60 to 100 beats per minute. I would measure the heart rate the next time it goes up and keep track of all triggers that may be causing it. Many daily life situations can also contribute to this. Increase in heart rate can be due to exercise, changes in blood pressure, fever, anemia, drink too much alcohol or caffeinated drinks, stress etc. If any of these sound like possible causes, bet to see your doctor for further evaluation and testing.
The Ejection Fraction (EF) is
The Ejection Fraction (EF) is usually measure as a percentage and refers to how well your left ventricle phmps blood. Normal EF is between 55 to 70%. A EF of 45% is below normal indicating that less blood is available for pumping and you should discuss with your Cardiologist why that is. Your medications seem to be helping so, I would keep a close check on the heart and monitor it regularly.
